We are currently searching for Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
This position serves as a highly trained expert in the application of Lean Six Sigma methods and tools in Manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for managing the planning, facilitation, and completion of strategic, Cross-Company Lean Six Sigma projects to support the strategic technology development objectives of the company. In addition, this position is responsible for leading the efforts to simplify and consolidate GT processes globally and apply Lean Six Sigma tools to improve overall quality, processes, cycle time and span
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
+ Partner with Selma, TX team to create a culture which supports product development management, data driven decision making, and continuous improvement and aligned with established strategy, vision, goals and objectives.
+ Partner with product developers, Commercial, Project leaders and engineering team leaders to identify and select projects and implement Lean Six Sigma within their functions.
+ Lead, coach, train and mentor teams in the use of Lean Six Sigma tools and processes, serving as a change agent assisting them in solving high level and/or complex problems resulting in breakthrough levels of product development and/or performance improvement.
+ Train, coach, and challenge project sponsors and product developers in the use of statistical tools, approaches and techniques to create process management and measurement systems and develop a Lean Six Sigma mindset at all levels.
+ Leverage quality best practices across the company to ensure product development process improvements are institutionalized throughout the business.
+ Lead efforts to simplify, improve and/or consolidate GT processes globally by managing the execution of critical projects to create tangible business improvements in financial and customer results.
+ Train and mentor Green Belts throughout the organization providing guidance and direction as needed to ensure they are successful with their projects.
+ Maintain project performance measures on a regular basis to report to leadership on project status as required.
Required Skills
Required Skills:
+ 5 years experience as Certified Six Sigma Black working in a manufacturing environment
+ Experience utilizing strong analytical tools such as Lean Six Sigma in a research and development or manufacturing environment Design for Six Sigma is preferred
+ Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills with proven ability to establish and monitor project metrics. Ability to think strategically with a willingness to challenge the status quo. Ability to work effectively across all functional groups to organize teams and achieve continuous improvement results. Ability to coach, influence and mentor individuals at all levels throughout the organization
Required Experience
Qualifications:
+ Minimum BS/BA in related discipline
+ Certified Six Sigma Black belt
